HCG Levels in early pregnancy?

I am a little over 4 weeks pregnant. On Tuesday, my HCG levels were at 167 and today, (2 days later) they read at 284. The nurse said that this was okay and that the pregnancy so far looks good because the levels are rising. I thought they were supposed to double every 2 days? Am I wrong?

They supposed to double, but not everybody is the same. As lond as the HCG level is not droppind you are fine! Good luck!

The important part is that they go up. Yours almost doubled. Don't stress out about it!  It's fine. My number at 4 weeks was 250 and 2 days later it was 550.  As long as they keep going up, you're fine!

DOUBLE CHECK WITH UR DOCTOR, IT SHOULD DOUBLE, AND MAKE SURE THEY SEE THE SAC ON THE ULTRASOUND TO SEE IF THE PREGNANCY IS NORMAL.
