Is is THAT much of a difference. I just recently went to Cleeks and all they had was 1080I TVs, so i got a 42 In. LG Plasma 1080I TV.

Is there THAT much difference to where I should take it back and look for a 1080P TV? I want the BEST because its football season baby.

Thanks

  1. 1080P is usually used for viewing movies in the HD DVD/Blu Ray format. As for football season broadcasters will film/send their signal out in either 720P or 1080i.

  2. all i know is:

      1080I = 1080 integrated

    1080p = 1080 pixels

  3. Some will argue that it's a big deal and some won't.  Plasma technology is faster than LCD and LCD's are usually where I've seen a difference with the "i" and "p" thing.

    Truthfully, if you're happy with the picture on any programming now, you'll be happy come football season.
