Okay, Directv box is in living room. We get free 'movies on demand', but it has to be connected to the internet. My router box is two rooms away. The only thing I can think of is buy a looong ethernet cord and run it to thre DVR whenever I want tro watch a 'demend' movie. It's very inconvenient though. Running a chord thru the rooms sand around the living room is not an option.

I can't move the computer any closer.

ANd I do not know how to hook up the DVR wirelesslt. Besides, the last time I looked it would cost like $50 dollars to do it.

Any suggestions?

  1. I do not know exactly, but that guy is a jerk.

I know u r asking for the inexpensive way or a different way that may be out there that u have not heard of. Some people shouldn't be allowed to answer.

  2. Hmm..well there are only two ways to connect it. Wired and Wireless.

You've said you don't want to run a wire and you said you don't know how AND don't want to spend money on hooking it up via Wireless.

What sort of magical connection do you want us to concoct for zero dollars AND no wires AND no amount of difficulty??
