we are getting HD digtal cable installed next week, and i was wondering if it has an EPG(electronic program guide) with it?

  1. yes, all cable boxes have ipgs (interactive program guides)


  2. Yes.  An Electronic Program Guide (EPG) is a required part of the digital signal, both Over The Air and on cable / satellite.  The signal doesn't really work without at least the data table for the EPG present.
