HD Disks playable on Blu Ray player?

I have a PS3. Can an HD Movie be played on a PS3

An HD movie can be played - Sony has downloadable HD content encoded in AVC.

You cannot play HD DVD discs, if that's what you're asking, but you can certainly play your own AVC authored movies from the hard drive or on BD-R discs, DVD+/-R discs, etc.

yes PS3 supports HD playback...make sure that the disk code for area is same as that of your PS3......if they dont match ...the disk might not play......for further info contact at [e-mail]
