HD LCD TV. With a Cracked screen, how much does it cost to fix?

Hey Greg K. If your still out there, What would you do if you were in my situation, do ya fix it, or do ya try to sell it for parts.

I actually find that replacing the TV set saves about $300 to $400 over replacing the panel on it....

That's because storing the part does cost you in manpower and warehousing it....

Ouch. Are you sitting down? Average cost to replace will be 700-1000 dollars. It's THE most expensive part of the television. I don't expect a "best answer" for being the bearer of such bad news but there is no sugar-coating it, this is the absolute most catastrophic damage that can possibly happen to an LCD tv.
