HD Ready TV?

Hi, I am thinking of getting a Philips TV, it has one HDMI port but the website says its not HD ready, how is this possible, please help.

Needs a special HD signal grabber.

Not sure what the box is called but if it doesn't have it it's a HUGE pain in the butt to get put in. Might as well buy a different tv.

Look for two "cable inputs" in the back.

If it has 2 then it "should" be HD ready!

It normally means it does NOT have a digital tuner built-in so you will need to buy a digital HD TV Tuner or get a digital cable box from the cable company.

Look on the website and it should tell you exactly what the TV has.
