HD TV Help!!!!!!!!?

If you have an Hd tv do you need to have HD cable or can you use an antena????

You might get a few HD broadcast stations locally, but you will get more with cable/satellite. Cable has about 55, dish has 75, and directv has 95 national broadcast stations currently in HD.  directv is scheduled for 150 by September.

you need a signal coming in nothing more to recieve a better picture just upgrade your service :)

To watch HD you need an HD source.

Full Power TV stations have had digital signals in the air since 2002 and many are transmitting HD programming in prime time.  All you need is an antenna, and it's free.

If you wish to use cable or satellite, you will need to upgrade to an HD package for an additional cost.

For DVDs, you will need a Blu-ray player and DVDs that were produced in HD.
