HD TV Tuner card?

Question

If I get an HD TV tuner card for my computer, will connecting it to my HD cable box with a coax cable give me an HD signal? If not, what is the best way to get HDTV signal to my PC?

Only  a raw cable signal will give you hd.  Once it's been processed by the cable box the only way to send a hd signal out is with component cables or HDMI.  Without the box you should be able to get local channels in hd in most areas.  If you still want to use the cable box for your t.v. just split the signal before it gets to the box with a 1000MHz (1Ghz) splitter or higher.
