  1. It's an ATSC tuner, not a cable tuner. ATSC is an antenna broadcast in 8 bit vestidual sideband. This device will pick up all of your local broadcasts from an off-air antenna. Cable uses a totally different delivery system called quadriture amplitude modulation.

Contact your cable co. You'll probably be able to see "in the clear" HD channels such as local networks. Ask them what channels you will see in HD using an ATSC tuner and ask for channel numbers. They move them around for their own convenience.

  2. This tuner is only meant for use with an antenna. If you want to buy a TV tuner, google Hauppauge. They make a good quality line of tuners.

  3. This is NOT for you. Look at the bottom of the ad, it says "SOLD OUT". This means they ain't got no more, nada, none, kaputz, gone, kazaam, hit the road, down the Pike, over the hill, 'round the bend, up in smoke, "we ain't gotem no more" that sorta thing. Capisch??
