Question:

HD TV versus DVI displays... price, size, & pixel count

I've been using my Apple Cinema Display as a TV set for years. With the 30 inch screen, and 2560 x 1600 pixel count (priced at $1800.00) I've never felt the need to buy an HD TV, which seem to be more expensive, but have a lower pixel count.

Unfortunately, my Nintendo Wii with its analog out connection, demands I buy an HD TV monitor.

Does anyone know of any HD TV models out there with a size, resolution, and price that would be equivalent to my computer display?

  1. you don't have to buy an HDTV for the Wii any regular tv with analog inputs will work.

  2. None of them are going to have the same resolution as your display.  1920X1080 is the highest resolution you can get.  Go look at them and decide which you like best.  Personally I prefer Pioneer plasmas, and I own a 60" Pio plasma.
