Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a HD ready and full HD ready television. Thanks.

  1. Full HD is a higher pic resolution of 1080, which has over 2 million pixels, compared to standard "HD Ready" which is usually just over 1 million, so there's a noticable difference on bigger panels.


  2. HD ready TV's are any resolution other than 1920x1080 pixels which is classed as a full HD TV.

  3. I going to assume that a television that is full HD ready is a set that can display 1080p, because that is the highest HD available to consumers.

    While the broadcast HDTV standards are only 720p, 1080i.
