HD movies ,, i do not want to convert them ,because i have a ps3 HD player?

Question

i just downloaded 6 720p hd movies and the files are .mkv files and i dont know what i have to do to burn them to a blank dvd9 because i dont know how to so can some one please help thanks

on the pc they play fine . now i want to view them on mine PS3

i try to burn them in a Video_ts dir like a ordenary DVD and leave the .mkv extension intact ,,but that dint work

i do not want to convert them ,because i have a ps3 HD player

.mkv is a file container that can support multiple codecs (like .AVI).  It is unlikely that your ps3 supports that file format.

You may have to transcode them to a file format that the PS3 can play.
