HD set top box problem?

When I turn on my HD set top box, it goes into 'standby mode' automatically and I can't get it out of this mode. Can anyone help me? (It is a Celestial DVB8800HD)

  1. That's not good...unplug your Celestial for 5 minutes ....NO LESS.

    Let it reset itself...

    Then plug it in, wait 2 minutes then power it on and if it STILL SHUTSDOWN.....

    Your Box needs serviced...

    I take it your service provider will exchange your defective box for a new one hopefully at no charge to you....give them a call and see....
