HDD to Disc?

Recorded from HDD to Discs,watched the programmes,no problem, 3 other people have borrowed them and it just shows a blank screen on their players,anyone able to explain why this is,where have we gone wrong on it,appreciate any help.

Barry M has the answer. Make sure that you follow the dubbing and finalisation procedures exactly, as I found when I first did this operation that I thought I had done it properly but in fact had missed a bit out.

The disc will probably need finalising so it becomes like a bought disc. Should fall under one one the recording menus and say finalise or protect. Also make sure that their DVD players and play these discs.
