-Relatively new 60 inch pioneer television.

-HDMI picture is working fantastic.

-Audio is not working at all and I have the ps3 sound settings hooked up to the HDMI option.

Please help me what I can do (or even what I can buy) to get sound for my ps3.

  1. some of the older HDMI cables do not support audio, some only support stereo, the newest ones support 7.1 surround. Make sure the one your using supports audio.

  2. Please call the maker of your product

  3. If your PS3 is set to HDMI audio, make sure your TV is set to output HDMI audio.

Thats if you don't want to spend any more money. If you are willing to spend more money I would advise you to get a nice home theater in a box system for no more than $200 and hook it up through an optical audio cable. TV speakers stink (even if they're getting the audio through HDMI) for 2 reasons. 1-Theres only 1 speaker in front of you as opposed to home theater's 5 surround speakers and subwoofer. 2-Even the best TV speakers usually don't have the power & clarity that even the cheap home theater systems do. Hope I helped!

  4. I just came across a site that sends you a Playstation 3 for free! I'm ordering mine right now.
