HDMI connectivity

Question

I recently bought a Samsung LNT-5265FX LCD TV and have been trying to use an HD cable box (Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4250HDC) from Time Warner Cable. Everytime I turn the TV on I get a yellow screen giving me an error message so I unplug the electricity from the cable box, plug it back in and let it go through its "Mystro" process. I have tried lots of sequences with turning the power off and on but I always wind up having to unplug the cable box and plugging it back in before I can watch the TV. Any help would be appreciated.
