HDMI is not working

Question

This is my second one from olevia and the same problem is still happening. Talk to them and all they said was to upgrade the firmware so I did and still no HDMI signal. my buddy that lives next store to me brought over his sony HD and that worked fine with my Comcast cable box. please help!
