Ok my tv is Mitsubishi Diamond WS55905 55

http://www.productshub.com/Mitsubishi-WS55905/

It seems I can only play in 480? And the tv says 1080 on it. But not 1080p?

And I cant play in 720 I tried 1080 but the text is blurry.

Whats wrong do i need a converter or something? Or 480 is the best i can get?

  1. if you do not have hdmi cables you will not recieve 1080p. So spend money on some cables. Also, your tv may only recieve 1080i which makes it 720p

  2. You need to get HDMI cables.

1080i is equal to 720p.  If text is blurry, then you are probably using a composite cable, which is just the yellow cable.

You'll get a better picture using component cables which is the red, blue, green cables. (Video only)

Check to see if your 360 has HDMI out, and your TV has an HDMI in.  If so, get an HDMI cable...

  3. I see a lot of Hitachi's that say HD1080 on the front sticker to try and fool customers into thinking that the TV is 1080p when it is just 720p or "1080i". I suggest that you use the component cables that came with your 360 for video that should take the blur out of the picture without spending any money or if you own one of the newer 360s, order a cheap HDMI cable online that way you have the best video cable going to your TV. Then set your 360's output to 1080i.

Here is a link to a cheap HDMI cable (it will give you the exact same quality as a $100 HDMI cable):
