HDTV HELP, The Picture Look's Weird, Can You Help? 10 pts for best answer?

I have the cable connected directly to the TV (As I do not have cable Service), also when I hooked up my Xbox 360 to It it does not look as bad as the Cable but still look kind of weird, the tv Supports 470P, 7Something P and 1018I (or was it 1080) well nevertheless what do I need to do to get good picture? I have all the cables plugged in and set up, please help!!1

maybe you have to check the settings, or make sure you have it connected via HDMI.

i had the same problem, but also dont sit too close as the pic isnt that good close but far away its amazing! :)

try to go up to the hdmi cable the cables that come with the xbox don't support hd any hmdi will work you don't need the monster or  anything a good cheap one will work

You need some source of HD signal.  If you don't have cable or dish, then you need an over the air antenna and your tv needs to have a hd tuner.
