HDTV Res - which would you say is better?

720p or 1080i???

What are your reasons?

720p generally looks better. While a 1080i image has more pixels, the pixels on a 720p are refreshed twice as often.  This means that if you have a fast moving image, a 1080i can suffer from motion blur and pixelation.  For a still moving image, 1080i would look better, but you will always be watching moving pictures, so this doesn't matter much.

720p cause it shows all the lines of resolution on the screen at every frame.

it gives a complete picture on the screen at anytime.

therefore giving you smoother motion and a clearer picture!

1080i can be noisy and doesn't show all the lines in a single frame at the same time and can give a flicker effect!

which will lower your enjoyment of the tv

Well...isn't it to do with resolution? So 1080 is higher resolution and therefore a clearer picture and better? No?
