HDTV and an HDMI cable?

If I buy an HDTV, do I have to buy an HDMI cable?

No.  You can use either Component or HDMI if you want high def video signals.  You can use S-Video, Composite, or coax for standard def.

you dont HAVE to but if you hook something up to it that uses HDMI it would be recomended that you do if you want the best picture and sound... and whats the big deal i got one off ebay for $.01
