  1. Yes.  It is still possible to get pregnant even though you started your period.  It is possible to have a period and be pregnant.  I know this from my own personal experience..for the first pregnancy.  Just make sure that if you are late on your next period that you take a pregnancy test.  This stuff happens all of the time.  It just depends on when you ovulate!  For future refrence, I would definately go get on some sort of birth control if you dont want any more suprises.  I am currently on Mirena and I love it!  There are other issues, like something called Implanon.  They are both long term birth control options that can be removed at anytime and have the potention for immediate fertility after removal.  Good luck to you and God bless!  =0)

  2. Is it time for your normal cycle?

You cannot become pregnant until you ovulate.  Typically, a person ovulates around 10-15 days after the start of her period.  So, your husband's sperm would have to live inside your body for around 12 days, which is highly unlikely.  Of course, everyone's ovulation patterns are different.  If yours is abnormal to the point that it occurs soon after your period starts, then it is possible.  We can't answer that for you, though.  It all depends on how your own cycle works.
