  1. wear a clothes peg on your nose while you sleep

  2. i have a wide nose.

usually a side angle/profile  works best for me. :)

  3. hmm

i learned this from being in the school play

but if you a dark eyeliner pen and draw light lines along the sides of your nose

and then smudge it and try to blend it in a little

the shadowing will make your nose look less wide

    just mess around with it

    hope this helps(:

  4. Practice smiling different ways in the mirror and tilting your head different ways so the camera will see the nose from a different angle

  5. Try take your picture at an angle, this will soften your features and help to hide a wide nose.  Angel your chin to the side and lower it.

Don't take a picture straight on.  This will make your nose look even wider.

If smiling really big widens your nose, try a closed mouth smile.  This won't lift your cheeks so much and it won't cause those creases on the sides of your mouth people usually get from a big grin.

Try new angles and smiles in the mirror.  The trick is to know how you will look and be able to find a good angle and good light for your face.

    Good luck.

  6. Use a shade darker bronze make-up and brush lightly on the sides of your nose. Leave the bridge it's regular colour. By shading the outer walls, thus will give it a more narrow look.

Create nose-shrinking shadows. Even if you don't use any other makeup, apply some blush in the middle of your forehead. If your nose shines out then use a concealer, slightly darker than your skin tone, on it.

  7. There is a retouching filter in Photoshop called "liquify", that corrects your nose in a jiffy. It's super easy to use.

However, as an actor it's totally OK to have a character nose.  And your headshot needs to look like you. You really mustn't beautify your picture, because casting directors will expect you to look exactly like your headshot when you walk in for that audition.

For a model, a wide nose might be a problem because a model has to look perfect. For an actor, there is no such requirement.
