Question

I got some neighbors who have 3 children. I have worked so hard for babysitting like dedicated a whole day to the red cross training. i love and maybe am a little obsessed with little children and babies!i have been wanting to babysit for 2 years now and i have been sooooo excited to do it, but never have found anybody with little children until now with the neighbors!

My sister on the other hand who is 2 years older than me doesn't dedicate anything. And of course SHE gets the job. probably just because she is older! i am way more responsible than her, even my parents admittied it!!

i neeed that job! i want it more than SHe does! i dont even care if they only pay me $3 an hour!!

please help me and give me some advice on this. (maybe even how to steal the job from her)

talk to your sister and your parents and let them know how much you really want it and then maybe your sister could say that she&#039;s busy and that you could do it. I don&#039;t think you should bang on your neighbors door and yell at them about how you&#039;re more responsible though, because that would have the opposite of the desired effect. talk to your parents and see what they can do to help you.

well my friend and her sister take turns babysittin for their neighbours little girl. or they do it together like take her out or put her to sleep and they get paid equal amounts. if you want to be seen and noticed as the more responsible person for the job, maybe you could write a letter to your naighbours explaining why you would do a better job than your sister.

Well, maybe, you can talk it through with your parents to se if they will change their mind. Or maybe you can ask to help your sister to learn so that you can do it yourself after a few tries? But, I don&#039;t think you should try to steal the job from her. Maybe you should try talking wiht your sister and bargain. Maybe if you do something for her, maybe you can get your sister to talk your parents into letting you babysit? Well, I hope this helps!

Well if you want to steal the job that&#039;s not very adult like. You should try and work for other families get a bit of a employment history if you will.

Ask the parents if u can be a mother&#039;s helper (like a nanny) and maybe she will make you a babysitter when she trusts you. Or u can talk to your parents about this. Hope I helped! :)

How old are you?  You may not be old enough for the parent&#039;s comfort level, which is why they went with your older sister.  Just be patient, and be mature. The babysitting jobs will come.

If you&#039;re older...try hanging some flyers at grocery stores for a babysitter. You may get some takers.
