Sorry for caps, but maybe thought more people to my question. Anyway I was wondering what do you girls think is the best way for a guy to go up to you. I never know what to say when I go up to them, so I end up looking dumb.

Try to catch eye contact and maintain the eye contact for a while... then you can break the ice by walking up to her.

Find something you see that maybe you have in common. If you see her wearing a SF 49ers shirt, go up and say something about that team, etc. It is hard to approach someone, but if you keep it light, about something you both are interested in and not weird she will respond. It may not be the response you wanted, but chalk it up to practice.

go up to her and compliment her on something. but try NOT to be creepy. i hate that now a days all guys can do is talk to a girl on aim or myspace or through texting. ask her where she goes to school, or if she goes to your school ask her what classes she has, and if she doesn't have any classes with you be like' aw its a shame we don't have any classes together' and maybe then it will be her turn to ask you a question.

be confident and make her blush. It works on me. Like if some guy comes over and is like hey whats your name but all confident i will laugh and tell them and see what happens. Its all about the approach and attitude.

Take it smooth, be easy to talk to, say such words as "Hey, I'm (your name) if she doesn't know you. If she does know you then be like "Hey, whats goin on" and then she will answer. Then make a conversation. Only YOU can come up with that. I can just give you the introduction. Best of luck, don't get sweaty palms lol

Depends how much you know about the girl.

Don't be cocky or arrogant. Very unattractive. Be confident instead, girls like that.

Have some small-talk topics ready in case you get nervous, or else just go ahead and ask her.

Make sure you have a rough idea of what you're gonna say, try not to wing it if you're nervous, because you will stutter and you will not make a good impression.

well usaully when a guy approaches me. its better when they do it with humor. i know it may sound weird but if a guy can make me laugh the first time he talks to me then hes alright with me. so try that.

First get eye contact and when she sees you looking at her, give a drop dead cute smile (nothing scary or creepy, please).  If she smiles back (like she's interested) then go up and talk to her.  Keep the talk light, maybe starting with the current song that's playing in the background and then move on from there.
