HELP, emergency: Something stuck under left eyelid?

I just got out of the shower & all of a sudden my eye felt like there was something in it when i look to my right. I looked underneath and it seems to be some specks of white gunk. I've tried everything, from saline eye drops, to distilled water, eye wash, trying to pick it out with wet qtip. This has been going on for more than an hour. I need to know waht it is, and how to get it out. Help? It's driving me INSANE.

  1. Close your eye and try to massage the lid toward the inside corner to see if it will move to the corner. Be careful. You could easily scratch your eye and it will feel like there is something in it even if there isn't.

  2. I think you should head over the the emergency room. You don't want to s***w up your vision trying to get that out.

  3. I would head to an Urgent Care or ER.  You don't want to mess with it too much.

If the white specks are on the underside of your eyelid, it could be allergies.  Over the counter drops can give some relief.

If they are on your eye and won't move with the q-tip, then I wouldn't try anything else.

Whatever you do, make sure to keep your hands clean before and after touching your eyes.

    Good luck!

  4. just keep blinking ur eyes then maybe the white specks will some to the center if ur eye. then try to take it out with ur finger. this always works for me. hope it helps.
