Bitten on the head and 2 times below L-eyebrow. I was sleeping. 2nd day as I woke my eye was real swollen, red, itchy, and buring. Even my eyelid. I was having Allergic reaction and broke out in hives! I had a headache and it was so painful I went to the ER. 2 days later followed up with eye doctor. Was put on steriods and powerful antibiotic. It has been 6 days and finally going down. I declared wars on spiders inside and outside! I tore down all webs. The same night I went to let the dogs out. OMG ... I seen another big spider making another web. Killed it with wasp spray and then went to get the dogs a treat in garage seen another spider... killed it with same can of wasp spray. Then went to close front door ... OMG another bigger spider making a web. Killed it with the rest of the wasp spray. I don't what's up with all these spiders! I have already killed like about 15 of then in the house in the last 2 weeks while doing spring cleaning. I don't understand where in the world are all of them coming from. Please will someone tell me how I can get rid of the spiders inside and outside for good! I need a serious reply. I can't afford to be bitten again so, I need something that is safe for the dogs but, will kill all these spiders!

Please Help Me. I need something that really works! thanks!

  1. You may have to do a bug bomb inside and then do some spray on the outside. Or look for an exterminator..

  2. Black Flag:

    sounds pretty good to me...

i am soooo sorry you got bitten, thats NOT cool

  3. You should probably talk to a local exterminator because this is becoming a serious problem if you had a allergic reaction.

I hope you find a solution, and hope your eye is better!

  4. Left alone spiders do not generally attack humans, not even the Terrantula unless you agrieve it. There are some in  my house (no no not terranyula's)  which are doing a good job controling other bugs, more in the garage, and plenty others along the eaves of the house, all of whom I enjoy watching, building the very intricate web. The domestic spider DOES NOT BITE...so you have been bitten by something else, look into the sky and see if you can observe any life, you will see an empty sky because we have killed off the food chain which once fed the birds.

  5. OMG, I'd die!!  I'm terrified of spiders.  I just use RAID on them.  Kills them.  But, get some Ortho Home Defense.  You spray it around the base of your house and can also spray it along base boards and stuff inside.  It is supposed to keep spiders and other bugs away all year.  I used some last year and never had one spider in the house.  Did it again in the spring and so far, so good!  We did power wash the house so I went around and sprayed along the base of the house once more.  I highly recommend it!!!

  6. sry

  7. I went to war with brown recluse spiders in my house, and I think I am winning.  I live in the midwest and my new house was infested with Brown Recluse.  I was bitten twice.  This is a very hard spider to get rid of.  This is what I did.

I went on ebay and bought this stuff called Suspend SC.  It costs about $40-50, but will last for months.  You can buy a pump sprayer for weeds/spray to dispense. It is concentrated so I follow the mix directions of about .75 to 1 oz per gallon.  The spray is safe after it is dried so you may have to isolate fish, pets, and kids for a couple of hours until it dries.

Move all your furniture/beds everything away from the walls temporarily for a few months.  Clean up your closets and clutter.  Vacuum or remove webs especially if you find egg sacks.

Then spray your house floor boards, corners and behind beds, everywhere.  Spray every crack and corner of the house inside and out.  Behind beds on the wall, etc. I even spray in the ceiling corners and around windows.  I spray the rafters of my basement and inside heater vents.

Check your windows and doors to make sure they seal tightly.  Spray your door ways and the cracks of your doors (anywhere you can see sunlight through a doorway or window that is suppose to seal.)

Consider buying bombs for atics and crawlspaces, but bombs are not very effect of controlling spiders.

Use the Suspend SC spray every 2-3 months, but you have to be consistent.  You will notice less and less spiders.  I have only killed 2 brown recluse this year vs. killing 2 a week just a year ago.

    Good luck!

  8. Put glue traps where spiders live like in dark corners.  Buy mint extract and cottonballs.  Soak the cottonballs in mint and put them around areas where spiders can get inside.  Spiders don't like mint for some reason.
