HELP! ASAP! I need to know how to type an essay on a mac!?

Seriously, there is no microsoft word, and the paper is due tomorrow.

I need to know a system that works for typing papers, and essays.

Appleworks does, or TextEdit if you have a newer Mac(new macs don't have appleworks)

but, for the future, you can buy Microsoft Word for Macs.

what version of mac operating system does it have. Mac leopard come with a program called pages that you can use to write a paper. Pages is a word processor. Or you can download open office from openoffice.org just make sure its for mac
