HELP ASAP online files to dvd?

Question

There is a show I tape everyday, one where there are no repeat episodes, and the whole previous week's deleated itself off my DVR before I could burn them onto a dvd. I can download the episodes into parts off a website that would put them as either avi or wmv files but is there anyway possible to burn those onto a dvd using a dvd burner I have on my laptop. I put these on dvd so someone can watch it.
