I have 2 unpaid warrants (just unpaid tickets for speeding).

Will this be a problem when I go to get my marriage license?

This is for Tarrant County in Texas.

I haven't found anything online, so I'm asking... PLEASE help ease my worry!!!

  1. Don't you think if you can pay for a marriage license and a wedding you can fork over the money owed to TX for your unpaid tickets???  Seems responsible to me???

IF YOU DON"T WANT HONEST ADVICE-DON'T ASK!!!

*Here is a thought...ask your parents to pay for it and to skimp on a part of your wedding????*

  2. You'd be safe if you got married in a different state than your tickets were in for sure. But I don't know Texas law specifically. I don't see why it would be a problem. Use a passport as ID instead of driver license, they may not even notice.

  3. They won't issue you a license until the tickets are paid.

  4. just pay your tickets. Don't make it a bigger deal than it needs to be.
