HELP! Do i go through with the belly button piercing or not?!

IM SO NERVOUS.

and my parents are taking me in an hour.

like straight up honestly does it hurt 1-10..

anything to calm my nervs.?

just a heads up the hole is just like the ones in your ears, the hole will last forever. you will always have a red dot above your belly button.

It's not going to feel like a feather!

But remember, you HAVE to keep it clean or it will get infected!!  That area needs a lot of care!!  Go for it, but don't be surprised if it gets really nasty and you have to take it out.  I had mine twice and just gave up when  my body rejected the metal.  I have other piercings that are fine but for some reason that one never took.

i'm not sure how it hurts, but i know that its done using a hollow needle (that means they take a chunk of flesh out) my friend has had facial peircings using a hollow needle and she said they where about a 6-7 (if gettting your earlobes pierced is a 1-2) it might hurt less with your belly button cuz you don't have as many nerves and its soft tissue and what not..

I took my daughter when she was 12 years old to get her belly button pierced.  She was really nerveous too and worried that it was going to hurt bad.  I gave her 2 asprin and made sure she ate before we went.  When they get ready to insert the needle, take a deep breath and exhale as it goes in.  It really helped her alot.  She said it wasn't as bad as she thought it would had been.  Good luck!!!!!

it doesn't hurt i got mine done i didn't even flinch. they lay you down on the table or what have you they mark it usually let you see in a mirror and then they go for it its two seconds a little pinch you will feel and then they put the ring or what ever in its no big deal nothing to worry about i have my eyebrow my tounge my labret my belly button and my nose done, and i would say my belly button hurt the least of all of them

it hurts for about 30 seconds, it's well worth it, don't worry about it.  the waiting is the worst part.

honestly, it feels like a bee sting. and it is SO worth it afterwards.

i got mine done saturday and i can't stop looking at it.
