Question

How do I sell on eBay?

I'll do moneyorder/bankcheque only.

How will the cheque come to me?

easy. first create an account with ebay if you don't have one already. then click on sell and follow the steps! for the type of payment you have the choice of choosing moneyorder and bankcheque only. However, I would ask for a certified cheque as sellers normally do, for the simple reason that the buyer could send you a cheque from an account with no funds. A cheque can take 2 weeks to clear so it would take you 2 weeks to figure it out. A certified cheque guarantees you the money. Good luck!

As far as I know..all new ebay sellers MUST have paypal.

Ebay has tutorial online courses that teach you how to set up.

I would recommend PayPal....it costs a fee....but figure that in  the cost of the items.  With PayPal you get your money right away.  It is moved electronically, is safe and secure.  The people that pay with PayPal have already set up a credit card or bank account.

I have used the PayPal for over a year...no problems...checks and money orders take a lot of time and people can rip you off.

you can set up a pay pal account with a visa debit account which is where you use your own savings through visa.

i have sold and would recommend direct deposit.

so when selling the item in the description add that you will only accept direct deposit or money order.

once payment recieved you can then send item just notify winners when payment was recieved and when you intend to ship so you dont get negative feedback.

ebay is easy and if you need help go through there support team they are very helpful.

Once you set up the account on Ebay you set your payment methods. Paypal is NOT required but suggested.  Its a quicker way to get payment and if you want an electronic bankcheck you have to be set up that way.  Otherwise, your customers will have to mail you the payment via moneyorder/bankcheque as I believe that is what you want.  Just remember your payment will take longer to come especially if they use regular mail and not overnight mail.   You may not get as many costomers because most way to pay via paypal.  Its easier to track and they get their item faster.  It takes too much time to go to get a money order and then mail it.
