HELP EXPERIENCEED PPL HIGH SCHOOL?

i want to be cool and open and have alot of friends but i wanna be smart with out being a nerd and i also was known as the weird nerdy girl who was annyoing but i dont knowhow to talk to ppl withought being annoying or bothering them i want them to think im cool and breaking the ice and saying high yea not my thing eeekkkkkkkkk helllp !!! IM GONNA BE A FRESHMAN TELL ME WHAT TO DO AND NOT WHAT TO DO HELPP!

Just relax and don't try so hard. If you just be you and don't try to just follow what everybody else does, people will respect you for it. The more comfortable you are being you the better success you'll have making friends.

high school is so much easier than people say it is. I just graduated, and it was an experience I really enjoyed. Be yourself, and as a freshman, don't pretend to be someone you are not. The juniors and seniors tend to figure through these things VERY QUICKLY. Don't date someone out of peer pressure. Go to football games, go to dances, and join clubs. You will always regret the moments you passed by very soon after you graduate. Good luck.

well you'll be starting in a new school with tons of new people, so try to be friends with upperclassmen. at our hs, classes like gym and lunch and electives are with all the grades mixed, so its fairly easy to make upper or underclassmen friends. I already knew one girl who was two years ahead of me, and last year i met a bunch of her friends. Clubs definiatly, and one of my friends was in Drama and has sooo many new friends who are older. My point, just because your grade knew you as a geek doesnt mean you're the geek forever. You can try to reinvent yourself and be friends with new people :)

just talk to the people that sit next to you in classes

like if the teacher is annoying just crack a joke

stand up straight when you walk around

if you practice looking confident sooner or later you will become confident

awe hun you know what? just be yourself. be willing to make new friends, and dont wait for others to say hi, your allowed to say it first!! this makes other people more comfortable around you. dont try to be everyones friend on the first day though, you'll end up forgetting peoples names. i know its hard to say "hey my names Sam, lets be friends!" i know, trust me, my first day of grade nine was so nerve wracking..but you know what? after the first few days its no big deal.  try to sit beside some new people in class that you might like to be friends with. if you dont know something, lean over and ask for help. if they dont know the answer, dont say "oh" and go back to your work..instead be like "this stuff gets pretty hard huh?" and laugh it off.

and dont be worried that people might not like you, because honestly highschool is and isnt like the movies. for example; those popular girls who are friends with everyone ...yea thats so not true. no matter what theres going to be people who hate you, or are jealous of you. and as long as you can accept that, and not talk about how they hate you..thats cool, more people will respect you for that..

so have fun, enjoy highschool and know that this is the best time of our lives :) dont let others get you down if they dont want to be your friend, thats fine. i wish i knew that going into grade nine, so take this advice and use it to the best of your ability :D
