HELP!!! Fashion Emergency!!!?

Question

I'm going into the eighth grade and my mom bought me a backpack without telling me. I haven't seen it yet but I know it's gonna be a backpack backpack and I wanted to buy myself a tote. B/c I know my mom won't be able to put 2 and 2 together and figure out since I used a tote half of last year to get a tote. What can I do???

Ok well in eighth grade you'll probably have alot of homework and a backpack could be good. A backpack is also better for your back than a tote bag. I would keep the backpack, and get a tote so you can switch off.

Take it from a once 8th grader: be thankful you have a backpack... the teachers really tighten the load of homework and tests and projects.. so, a totebag will just be pointless...

Tell her thank you, but you really wanted a tote. She'll understand, and you can go exchange it. =]

buy a tote with your own money and she probably wont care.. and return the backpack.

also... i have been in the 8th grade and you will have a lot of books, homework, etc and you may want a backpack =]
