Question:

HELP! Gymastics & Figure Skating?

I've been taking gymnastics since I was 3 and figure skating since I was 6. I have been in competitive gymnastics for a while now, and I train 16 hours a week.

I want to start competitive figure skating also. Right now I train 6 hours a week, but if I want to do competitive I will have to train 9 hours a week, plus 3 hours of off-ice.

Do you think I could handle all of this? 16+12 hours of sports training and lessons?

THANKS!

  1. I think this is more of a personal question.  Some people can handle and busy schedule and some can't.

but that would mean like 4 hours a day if you worked every day

I don't think most people can do and plus competitive sports require A LOT of time.  I think if would be to much

  2. ya u could do that i think

  3. yes

i know someone whose a gymnast, cherrleader, a diver and a pole vaulter.

she does cheerleading&diving in the fall, gymnastics&cheer in the winter, and track in the spring. and does all of those off season but mostly gymnastics.

plus shes really popular and has tons of friends.
