okay PLEASE translate this to like kindergarden level so i can understand.

Dialectical journal. Use your annotations to develop the writing of your dialectical journal. The goal here is to record your response to the literature as you read. The left hand column will be your issue with "text." Consider for this column such things as significant or compelling quotations, questions that arise your mind, felicitous rhetorical subtleties and flourishes, intriguing passages or ideas, and much more.

translate so a dumb person could understand PLEASE. i need to get this done, the words are to big so i don't know what I'm suppose to do :(

Dialectical journal. Use your notes/comments to get better in the writing of your journal. Your goal is to read the text and while reading, to write down anything you think of the text. The left hand column will be where you write your notes. In this column you should put important and meaningful sentences that you find in the text, or if something in the text bothers you somehow (for example "Why is he doing that instead of doing something else?"), or phrases that sound good, or interesting paragraphs and ideas.
