HELP. HELP. HELP. eye irritation or...?

omg so right now, one of my eyes is really irritated.

it's red around the iris (the circle. not the little middle one [pupil] but the whole circle) and you can see little thin red veins leading to it.

i'm worried it's pink eye or something serious, but the thing is that i didn't wake up like that.

what makes me think that its nothing serious, is that last night i slept with my contacts (the same pair ive been wearing for a couple of weeks now).

when i woke up i was fine but then my eye got irritated all of a sudden in the middle of the day. the thing is that both eyes were irritated at the same time (one more than the other though) and when i took my contacts off, the discomfort went away.

also later today, the redness went away. but now its back.

WHAT DO YOU THINK IT IS AND HOW CAN I GET RID OF IT?

It could be just irritation from the contacts. If it persists you should see an ophthalmologist to rule out a more serious problem such as an eye infection.

get some eye drops your eye may just be dryed out, my eye did the same thing and I got artificial tears and yeah it fixed my problem

Leave your contacts out for a long time if you have glasses maybe like a day or two.  It's probably because you slept with them in, I sleep with my contacts in a lot tand that happens to me sometimes and even eyes drops irritated them, just leave them out for a while, if it lasts more than a fews days see an eye dr.
