  1. ummm just tell her its all normal things that happen don't panic trust me when its all over you know what i mean

  2. Well I haven't started my period yet (yay me) Ok so my friend's mom told EVERYONE at work. But her mom is an idiot. Your mom probally isnt like that she's not as stupid as this lady. Just tell her and say don't tell anyone or ill kill myself or somethin like that but don't really do it.

  3. go up to her and say you started your period.

  4. go buy them yourself

  5. Don't worry, you have at least 30+ years to break the news...

  6. Can you find a way to make a joke about it?  Some people find it easiest to deal with difficult topic by using humor.

Then, try working on the communication with your mom.  You will need her more and more the older you get.

  7. You should just next time you are alone tell her i have something to tell you but please dont make a big deal it embarrasses me, but i got my period awhile ago.  Just so now you know if i need to get girlie stuff at the store. :)

  8. What are you worried about? Didn't she get a period, or is she the bionic woman? If you want to let her know, just say: "Hey mom I need a pad, I hope you have some left."

  9. your best bet is to just come out and tell her.  every woman gets her period, no news flash there.  say "mom, i got my period."  that's it!

    good luck!

  10. I remember when my sister first got it, her way of saying it was when my Mom was going to the store and my Mom asked if she needed anything she was like get me some pads. Being the oblivious mother mine is she thought like notepads but my sister was like no PADS. I'm a guy, but I'd just be like yo mom mother nature hit.

  11. Don't worry about it, be like hey I need those pads and she'll be like, OK and it'll all be over in a matter of minutes and nothing can be as bad as the awkwardness. Just swallow hard and tell her. I know that can be hard at your age. I didn't tell my mom either, but my brother figured it out (talk about embarrassing!) It'll all be alright. Once you get it out and over with you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.

  12. well, being a guy, i haven't gone through that. but if i were you, and if your mom is as embarrassing as mine is, then the only way to break it to her is to just do it. just say "mom, I've had my period and i need pads". shes gonna give you poo whether or not you like it, the only thing you can do is just get to the point, so theres less for her to go on about.

  13. I had the same problem.  To this day I have never "told" my mom that I started....I'm sure she has figured it out.  why do you have to tell her?

  14. Mom's are really smart, ok? If you've had your period for 6 months already, she KNOWS. No big deal! Everything's cool.  She's probably just waiting for you to tell he and there's nothing to be afraid of. Your mom once went through the same thing herself, otherwise you wouldn't be here to begin with, right??

  15. Go once again shopping with her...o.k... and do the same thing again! o.k. with the pads.

When she says anything...just say,she is not the only one, who needs them..now...and tell her not to talk about it...to you.

  16. Next time it happens, text her that you need her to get you pads. =)  (if you're that scared...but really, you could just tell her)
