My big sis is a complete airhead, and she always falls for phone adverstisements and scams. So, the other day they called her at our house and they offered her a free Sprint cell-phone which they "would snet by mail", my sister fell for it and she gave them her SSN!!! her Driver's License #!! and WHO the F*** knows what else?!?!? the point is that I told her it was a scam, and she says that she doesnt think it was becasue they gave her anohter phone number so that she could see that it really was sprint...I also told her to report it, and she said that all she is going to do is return the phone when she gets it, but HELLO! she is never going to get it. So, we don't have a caller ID at home, but luckily enough they called me at my cell phone and told me about their offer, I hung up on them but the phone number is 973-718-2442...HELP me please! thanks!

  1. report it to the fraud detectives at your local police station. it is possible they already know about it. chances are the caller ID showing is a fake number though

tell your sister NEVER give details like that to strangers, they can use it for robbing her hank account.

  2. call the fraud squad or internet crimes division with you sheriff's office, next, report it to the www.ftc.gov federal trde commission

  3. calm down...

I never heard of this matter.

DO Not give to any body your SSS that you don't know.

If i would be you Report it to the POLICE so they will investigate about it.

    Good Luck.
