HELP! How do i fix my AC??

Question

Today it is like 95 degrees out and it is VERY hot in my home. I went to turn on the AC and the air wouldn't come on. I went in my backyard and the unit is spinning, but the inside AC unit will not blow out air. Everytime i hit the door on the unit on one area, it sounds like it is coming on. I bought a new filter today and i put it in properly. But nothing worked.

There is a switch in the upper right hand corner of the door that keeps the fan from running when door is not on. Try taking the door off and push in on the switch with your finger. If the fan comes on you you need to put the door on properly to hold the switch in.
