  1. Lighter fluid. Usually works the best for me. Put some on a paper towel, wipe the area with it and then clean the area with a normal glass cleaner and that should take all the sticky out!

  2. first try with water if there is no progress then rub it with petrol ur some acidic substance

  3. You could use brake cleaner or carburator cleaner to take the sticky stuff off of the glass.

    Rubbing Alcholl Works too.

  4. For sticky stuff I usually use Orange Clean.

You can also clean the glass with a razor blade. You move it along the surface of the glass careful not to scratch it while you scape off the residue. (Its not that easy to scratch glass with a razor blade.) I remove stuff from glass that way all the time.

    Good luck.

  5. I like using isopropyl, or rubbing alcohol, on glass. It generally cuts right through any adhesive residue and then quickly evaporates without leaving any residue of its own. Rubbing alcohol is a great secret weapon to use for a lot of regular cleaning. It is great on bright, polished chrome plated articles as well as glass for its ability to cut grease and it dries without leaving any residue. Alcohol can damage some finishes, if you're working near anything painted, lacquered or shellacked, but careful.

Acetone would certainly work but is a bit of overkill for this job. Also, acetone will eat through most paints and finishes, if you're working on glass that's near any painted for finished surfaces. Acetone will also "melt" a lot of plastics, so be careful with that too.

I've also used mineral spirits or paint thinner for this, but that requires some clean-up afterwards as you'll get a streaky residue on the glass.

  6. Ronson's lighter fluid. Won't damage appliance surfaces either.

  7. nail polish remover will take it off

  8. you can use a single edge razor to scrape it . and if it is still hard get a blow dryer and heat it for a minute or two then scrape

  9. Rubbing alcohol works for me.

  10. There is a great product called Goo-Gone to remove all sticky messes from most hard things.  Another way is using cooking oil by rubbing it on the glue with a paper towel.

  11. i had that problem the other with my dinner table. my husband went to Home Depot and bought  "Goof Off". im telling you that thing can take EVERYTHING off! even dried wall paint off carpets..amazing!

  12. PEANUT BUTTER... and I am serious. It takes all stickiness off of anything.

  13. Safest is some heated white vinegar.(non-diluted)

Removes stickiness and cleans glass at the same time!
