HELP!!! How to remove this virus from my computer??

Question

Somehow a virus has been installed at my work computer... and I already tried using spybot and Ad-Aware together and separately an it says that it removes the problem but its still there!! now my computer redirects itself to antispyware.com and sometimes pops up p**n images and this is my work computer... what do i do?? I dont even know how this got here!! plz help

Go to Download.com and write exactly what is written in your screen or try writing antispycheck. Propably you will find a programm there that will do the job for you. It happened to me once with a virus I didnt know, I did that and found a programm that among others it was cleaning my pc from this virus. After cleaning it I uninstalled the programm.

I`m sorry to tell you this, but you`re gonna HAVE to reformat your computer. Viruses these days go straight for your core system files, making it nearly impossible to remove. You probably got your virus from downloading music or torrents, if you do that.

I clean this kind of garbage off of computers every day. (Just for the record, your computer has a spyware infection NOT a virus).

To remove it, you need to use the right tool. Spybot and Ad-aware are good programs, but they don't know how to remove antispycheck.

I have had good results by booting the computer into safe mode and then running anti-spyware scans.

NOTE:  Some programs will be actively disabled or damaged by the infections. When this happens, just pick another cleaning program until you find one which isn't knocked out. Then reboot and try some of the others. Lather, rinse and repeat until you have a clean system.

It is a rogue anti-spyware program similar to the well known XP Antivirus rogue application.

Download and install SmitfraudFix

After you download and install restart your PC in safe mode with networking

Double-click on the SmitfraudFix.exe icon then follow the screen instructions. Option #2 should be selected in this case.

When you are prompted with “Do you want to clean the registry ?”, simply answer “Y”.

While in safe mode you should download, install and run a full scan with Malwarebytes
