We

have lived in Ireland for five years. my husband works in construction but work is really drying up here and its getting to the stage where we have to decide what to do for the best.money is getting tight.

Also we have children at different stages of education, they know the situation and are open to what ever we decide.

Our house has been up forsale for nearly a year and we have to decide soon before money runs out what to do.

We are going to try to rent it if possible to give us some time to decide.

If anyone has any suggestions i would appreciate it thanks

  1. Sell and owner to take back a full morgage. If you owe too much then just go to the new job. Write out the for and against and draw a line.

  2. Welcome to the rat race we're all in the same boat.

I don't think moving back would make any difference everyone is being squeezed.

  3. we moved back from Ireland last year, but construction is also on a downward turn here, so i would only come back if you have jobs lined up. it might not be worth the risk if you have children in school.
