HELP I'm putting a body lift on my s10 4x4 help asap?

i have a 1987 chevy s-10 4x4 auto transmission I'm making my own 4" body lift blocks to put under it now when i lift it i now i have to drop the radiator and put extended brake lines and get a steering extender where do i get the steering extender and what do i do about the shifter linkage or cable and the 4 wheel drive linkage or cable let me no asap please thanks

  1. jim was right ... do not even use it . lift it right. do the suspension not the body. it makes the whole truck weak and very dangerous !! it does not do anything more than leave room for tall tires. the bolts are inferior tothe factory body bolts and they DO BREAK !  a good solid hit will tear the body nearly off the frame . too much area away from the support of the frame. and the longer bolts tend to bend and break without alot of effort.. use spindles and springs or a real lift kit...


  2. TALK TO  YOUR  4X4 SHOP IN YOUR TOWN..THEY WILL HELP YOU  

  3. Your best bet would be to not do it at all, but if you insist, search google for s10 4x4 lift. If you find a website that sells lift kits, they will most likely sell the parts that you are looking for. After you know what you need you may be able to find them locally.

    I know a guy who did a similar thing to his s10. It rode horrible afterwards and he got rid of it. Good luck!
