HELP!! I Can't system restore in safe mode!?

Question

I've been trying to get system restore to work, and it wouldn't in normal mode so i tried it in safe mode and i kept getting a blue screen (yikes!).

Why isn't it working? How can I fix it?

(i have everything backed up, so that's not a huge worry. I don't know if the backup saves my programs though :S)

Ok so you have everything backed up then what you need to do is restart your operating system like i stated before, call dell and they can walk you through it

Edit- If you dont restart then your gonna slowly destroy your hardrive, and if its not the operating system then your hardrive is already fried and you need a new one and you will need to call dell about it and someone will come out and replace it.

You're getting BSOD in Safe Mode. Thats bad. Well if you have your data backed up, why not just run a clean format. Even if you manage a system restore, I'm not sure that your windows will remain stable for long.
