HELLO, I HAVE A VERY CLUTTERED BEDROOM. I HAVE A SMALL APT SO EVERYTHING IS THROWN IN THE BEDROOM. I HAVE BAGS OF CLOTHES, SHOES, PURSES. THEY ARE ALL IN BAGS, HOW CAN I ORGANIZE THIS. I HAVE ONE CLOSET AND IT'S PACKED WITH SMALLER SIZE CLOTHES, HOPING TO GET INTO THEM, LOL, HELP, HOW WOULD YOU START, ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A SMALL SPACE TO WORK IN.

  1. You should put away stuff you don't use so you'll have more space in closet. You can keep shoes in cute boxes under the bed to save the space in wardrobe. I had the same problem in my bedroom so I made shelves on the wall. I hope i helped you with your problem.

  2. When I tidy my room I take all the clutter out of my room. I then sort it in to piles like stuff I want to keep, stuff to throw away and stuff to sell!

  3. I know EXACTLY what you mean.  Start by forming piles.  Separate your clothes into *Give Aways, *Dirty Laundry, *Hopefuls (the ones you hope to fit into but don't necessarily need them out right now), and *Clean Laundry (into 2 sub-categories: the ones you're going to hang, and the ones that need to be folded into your dresser).  Then just start by hanging up clothes... don't even think about anything else, just keep hanging and hanging until you can't take it anymore :)  Then you'll have that pile done.  Then work your way to the next one and start folding.  Once you're finished with that, fold your Hopefuls and put them into a box and keep it at the bottom of your closet or somewhere you can store it that's still accessible.  Then, when finished with the Hopefuls, move on to the Give Aways, and pretty much just grab a huge trash bag and stuff them all in there.  But make sure you make a trip to the Goodwill this week. And last, when you have room on your floor, separate your dirty clothes (darks, colors, whites, dry cleans...) and start doing some loads.  -Same idea for the shoes and purses: separate them into the ones you're gonna keep and the one's you're gonna give away, then start putting it all away.  I know it seems like a lot of work you have to do, but now that you have a plan, it will actually really help you and it will go by really quickly.

Tip: Use your bed to make piles on and throw the dirty laundry out in the hall to make space.

Tip #2: "When in doubt, throw it out!" (that's my cleaning quote.)

  4. It sounds like you need to start with the clothes. If your too small clothes are 2lbs small maybe save .If they are 10-20lbs-or more sort through for the best, classic and  universal styles separate. Toss the rest or donate to goodwill. Do the same with purses and shoes. Sort everyday clothes from Dress clothes and by season saving only classic and universal styles.(next season styles will vary.) now call your friends and have a style swap. make it fun and party-ish. you bring yours they bring theirs. Bring your better castoffs and exchange what ever is not adopted by a new owner DONATE. This should pare down clothes by half. also create new combinations to your wardrobe. Women shelters are in need of good presentable clothing for their clients and will appreciate your well maintained castoffs.

  5. Cleaning is one of those chores that is continuously put off. Unfortunately, if you put it off too long, you may find little creatures have begun to inhabit the room. If a personal house cleaner isn't an option, use these tips to get motivated to clean your room.

    Step1

Make a plan for cleaning your room, writing down everything that needs cleaning and include things that you put off for years. Pretend that you will give these detailed instructions to a cleaning service.

    Step2

Break the plan up into sections that work with your schedule. Often one of the toughest obstacles to overcome in cleaning is feeling overwhelmed by the amount of work there is. Looking at the project in sections makes the task seem more doable and helps you feel motivated taking on one project at a time.

    Step3

Schedule several appointments for yourself, just like you schedule a dental appointment. These non-negotiable appointments require your time and attention and are just as important as any other appointment on your calendar.

    Step4

Turn on some upbeat music, turn off the ringer to your phone and keep away from any distractions like television or visitors. Try using headphones with your MP3 player, which helps block out any distractions.

    Step5

Set a timer for 20 minutes and tackle the first project. Although the project may take several hours like cleaning out a closet, 20 minutes of straight working is great. Reward yourself with a five-minute break, and then set your timer again for another 20 minutes of work.

    Step6

Tackle clutter and overstuffed closets with the three-pile rule. One pile is things to toss out, one is to give away to charity and the final one is what you keep. Enlist the help of a trusted friend and try on all of your clothes, asking their opinion on how it makes you look. If you are unsure, always put it in the give away pile and keep only things that make you feel fabulous.

    Step7

Look at your progress in terms of the sections you complete. Although it may take a weekend or two to finish the entire project, seeing a list of what you accomplish is a great way to feel motivated and keep going.

  6. Start with one bag, empty it out..decide what you want and what you don't want. You have to be honest with yourself and ask yourself if you really need it or not. If some stuff is still good but you don't need/want it, you could give it to the Good Will or something like that. Bag after bag everything will clear away sooner or later! Tackle small things like organizing your drawers, tables and throwing out garbage lying around. Eventually all those small areas you work on will turn into your whole room being clean =) Good luck..

  7. Put your smaller clothes into under bed storage containers. Put the clothes that you wear into your closet. A hanging shoe organizer for the back of your closet door can be a huge help. you can get them very cheap at walmart.

  8. sit down and take a deap breath. Now just think and use your brain.

  9. don't think , just start

you can do better than anybody, because u only one knows about ur room
