HELP I DONT UNDERSTAND?? 360 page?

Question

i just started fixing up my 360 page on yahoo,but in the public view it says my full name under my picture,and i dont want it to,my ? is how can u change ur name???

Go to your 360 page and at the top of it it will say:

Home|My Page|My Blog|My Friends|Mailbox|Invite|Search|Settings

Click on Settings, scroll down a bit to where it reads Name. To your right of that it will give you the options of (Just me Private), Public, etc. Click on Just me, Private and hit save. That means only your eyes will be able to see it. Thats all there is to it:)

- Click on your "Settings" link at the top right of the 360 space.

  NOTE#1: Make sure ALL fields marked with a red asterisk  are filled in properly on the Basic Info settings page, or the page WILL NOT save. If saving settings aspect is causing some trouble, in the age section - put your age OR your birth date, not both.

- Go to the "Name" section and change it.

  NOTE#2: If you don't want your name to show, you can't delete your name but you can hide it or use a fake name. However, something is required to be in the first & last name fields. So, make sure to click on the "can be seen by" drop down next to that section and make it "Just Me (Private)" if you don't want the name to be seen by others (except yourself), but you must put something in the blanks.

- Click the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. If done correctly, it will likely take you to your "Home" page.

   NOTE#3: If there is a glitch that's preventing you from changing your 360 name, then note that Y!360 is transitioning into a different social networking platform in the second half of 2008. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/product_360 for more details. However, they are no longer fixing bugs related to Y!360, so there's no point in trying to contact them about it. In that case, just hide your name from others as stated above.

- Make sure to check how other people view your page by clicking on the drop down menu "Preview as seen by" at the top right of your 360 "My Page". Choose a permission group and click the "Go" button.

Hello friend. This is a really easy thing to change on your profile page on the Yahoo360.

Step by Step ... follow me and I will tell you how to do it.

1. Go to your MY PAGE .

2.On the toolbar at the top of the page find the option Settings and click onto it.

3. It will open up your editing page for your personal information such as name and birthdate etc. ... each of the different types of information has its own privacy setting you can set by clicking onto it and then choosing your preference from the drop down menu.

4. In your case .. your name would be put into the PRIVATE.. ONLY ME setting.

You have to put some kind of personal information in those slot though.. but you can keep anyone but you from seeing it. this way.
