My Girlfriends parents have an 11 year age gap and that doesn't seem weird to anybody. Is it weird because of the age gap or because she is your age? I would ask yourself if you would find it weird if they got married later on and she was 45 and he was 57 its the same age gap but doesn't seem anywhere near as big.
