HELP!! I entered a huge ammount of money on an ebay bid by mistake. How can i cancel it?

I just forgot the point between the pounds and the cents. (the ammount is 100 times bigger than the intended one). I already contacted the seller and he said I have to do something to cancel it myself first. what shall I do?

Bid Retraction.

Do it and rebid.

Watch your fingers.  commas are not the same as periods.

PS, send a suggestion to the suggestion box that eBay edit for commas.  This is a fixable issue, but eBay doesn't seem to comprehend that it's a worldwide give-me-a-heart-attack kind of thing.
